| The dahlia support cage can be seen through the plant sleeves. Clothes pin secure the sleeves to the cage. A plastic picnic plate secured to the top ring of the support cage by a wooden skewer, protects the dahlia from potential hail. The sleeves are light plastic covers that florists use to protect plants and arrangements when taken out in the cold. |
